Inteview with Frances Robin of CTFT Part 1 005

Welcome to the fifth episode of the In It ForEVER podcast. This episode is part one of a 3-part series on Carried To Full Term (CTFT) – a non-profit organization that operates a maternity home in Haymarket, VA (Prince William County) – and their journey to become sustainable and expand their reach within Northern Virginia. This interview with Frances Robin, Executive Director of CTFT was recorded September 28, 2016. About a week prior to the interview, CTFT commissioned The Next Steps, LLC to plan and manage their annual fundraising event Life is a Gift to be held on December 2, 2016. Additionally, the agreement included working to develop and help implement a recurring donation/membership program called the “Fab 5” that was established the previous month. You’ll hear Frances talk about her struggles and sacrifice over the past 8 years leading up to the moment when she was handed the keys to the home that will transform the lives of some local expectant mothers in crisis and become their baby’s first home ever. In part two of the series, we will catchup with Frances to discuss the 2016 Life is a Gift event and its outcomes. In part three, you will hear about the Fab 5 membership program and how it is helping sustain the monthly needs of the organization and the Haymarket House where the expectant mothers take up residence.
